Kellie Martin, an American actor and actress on television and film. She is best known for her roles in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on as well as Lucy Knight in the medical drama "ER". Kellie Martin is best known for her part as the protagonist on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin, the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher started her career in acting when she was seven when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". In the years following her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting and was able to land substantial roles in both television and cinema. In addition to being an actress Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a dancer. Martin's sister, who died of Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
